With motors accounting for 26% of the United State's energy consumption, the government has released new tax credits and rebates encouraging commercial buildings to make the transition to more energy-efficient motors. Read more about how the Energy Act of 2020 and Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 are making it easier for commercial building managers to improve their overall energy consumption.
Industrial and Commercial Fans and Blowers
The major products manufactured in the industrial and commercial fans and blowers segment include centrifugal, axial and propeller fans and blowers; and shutters, guards and other parts and accessories.
This segment shows strong growth through 2021.
Air Moving Innovation
An OEM was using a 10-horsepower belted NEMA Premium® induction motor in conjunction with a VFD in their fan assembly that delivered adequate performance, but their end user demanded higher efficiencies and direct drive (elimination of the belt system). A completely new approach to providing these efficiencies was required.
