These special motors have been adapted to marine and offshore application. Given the saline environment, the RN-series is available with a cast iron motor enclosure and cast iron motor shields. Regal produces Rotor nl electric motors for lower and upper deck use and additional options including brakes and encoders.
Rotor nl motors are available in high protection (IP 55/56/67/68) & C3/C5 offshore coatings for harsh environments. Regal produces Rotor nl brake motors up to 355 frame and frequency inverter motors up to 690V.
