An important component of Regal's sustainability efforts is materials compliance. Regal is committed to working with suppliers who actively manage and demonstrate materials compliance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals.
3rd Party Data Collection
To assist Regal with soliciting and gathering documentation related to materials compliance from our supply chain, we have partnered with third party compliance manager Assent Compliance. Regal expects its supply chain to fully cooperate with Assent Compliance by providing all requested compliance documentation in a timely manner.
Full Material Disclosure (FMD) Statements As Regal's customers expect Full Material Disclosure (FMD) data on our products, we must in turn require FMD statements from our Supply Chain. FMD statements contain data which explains the complete chemical composition of all materials in parts supplied to Regal. If a supplier is unable to provide FMD statements, then upon agreement with Regal, they must gather, compile, and report on any restricted or hazardous substances in parts and materials they supply Regal.
Compliance Documentation Requirements To ensure all reporting requirements are met, Regal has established compliance documentation standards. Included below are links to REACH and RoHS declaration acceptance criteria. For conflict minerals, Regal requires suppliers submit their declarations using the latest version of the CFSI’s Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT), found here: http://www.conflictfreesourcing.org/conflict-minerals-reporting-template/.
