Regal Rexnord Corporation and its subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates (collectively, "Regal Rexnord") is committed to protecting your privacy.

Depending on where you are located, the "data controller" or "business" responsible for processing your personal information will be different. You can find a list of which Regal Rexnord companies may be data controllers or businesses in certain countries here. This Global Privacy Policy also applies to your personal information, including sensitive personal information, that is processed by our brands and through our brands’ websites and applications. A list of Regal Rexnord’s brands can be found here. This Global Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information or sensitive personal
information we process as a service provider (please note the reference to "service provider" in this privacy policy means "processor" or "sub-processor").

This Global Privacy Policy informs our business partners (including customers, vendors and suppliers), job applicants and website users about our personal information gathering practices in
connection with personal information we receive both online (through our websites and applications - please note that reference to "website" in this privacy policy should be read to include "applications") and offline (e.g., via the phone, conferences, and other correspondence).

In certain jurisdictions, such as: California, China, India, and Mexico, we are required to provide you with additional information about our processing activities. below for such additional information.

1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED? 

Depending on whether you are a customer, vendor, supplier, business partner, job applicant and/or website user, we may collect and process the following personal information about you, including but not limited to:

  1. Information and identifiers about you. Your name, company name, title, function, company email address, company postal address, any voluntary requests for communications from us, identity of visitor’s contact (if visiting), duration of visit, vehicle information, information necessary to facilitate in-person visits in accordance with government and/or health regulator direction or advice, including temperature (with visitor consent where necessary and only in accordance with applicable law),  contact details (business and/or personal), email address, “business card information,” demographic information, the Regal Rexnord products and brands you are interested in and your marketing preferences, Regal Rexnord events which you have attended or signed up for, and any information you provide to us voluntarily such as through forms you fill in, when you attend our conferences, or when you contact customer support services. If you register for an account on our website, we will collect information about your account, including your username. Our premises may also be subject to CCTV, biometric or other security solutions that may capture images and/or audio of visitors, in accordance with applicable law.

  2. Commercial information, details of your transactions and payment details. Your order details, warranty information, and payment details used to purchase our products and services, billing address, shipping address, tax exempt status, credit or debit card number and expiration date, account information relating to other payment services, and billing information. For some of our products, we collect information regarding how you use the product.

  3. Credit and anti-fraud information. Information relating to your financial situation, your creditworthiness, or any criminal or fraudulent activities provided to us by you or third parties including information which establishes your identity, such as driving licenses,passports, and utility bills, information about transactions and credit ratings from credit reference agencies, and information regarding fraud, offenses, suspicious transactions, and politically exposed person and sanctions lists where your details are included. We process this data as allowed by applicable legislation.

  4. Our interactions with you. We may keep a record of any interactions and correspondence between us such as calls made to our customer support services, any interactions you have with our representatives, and any interactions with us or posts that refer to us on social media. If you contact us through a portal on any of our websites, you will be asked to provide the following personal data: name, company, title, address, email address, telephone number, and fax number. The data you provide on our social media pages, such as usernames, comments, videos, images, likes, public messages, etc.

  5. Survey information. If you complete optional surveys that we use for research purposes, we shall collect the information provided in the completed survey. 

  6. Newsletter and product catalogues. If you request our newsletter or product catalogues, we collect and process the following personal data: name, title, company name, email address, postal address (if requesting postal mailings), and your voluntary request to receive marketing emails or postal mailings.

  7. Your use of our websites, including your internet and network activity. When you access our website, we will collect your IP address, which is a number assigned to your device when you connect to the internet, and other identifiers. As part of the protocol of the internet, web servers can identify your computer by its IP address. In addition, web servers may be able to identify the type and version of browser, type of computer you are using, operating system and interface, your device ID, website from which you are visiting (referrer URL), webpage(s) you visit on our websites and activity on those websites, date and time of access and geolocation. This personal data includes Internet or other Electronic Network Activity Information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). Regal Rexnord collects IP addresses and related information for the purposes of system administration, to assess the traffic of our websites, and to maintain and improve our websites. We will analyze user behavior in anonymized form to prevent fraud and misuse of our IT systems, as well as to ensure physical, IT, and network security. Our website is not intended for use by those under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect, use, process or otherwise disclose information about children under the age of 16.

  8. Cookies and other information from tracking technologies. Cookies are small bits of information that some websites (including our websites) transfer to an individual's end device for various purposes. Regal Rexnord uses cookies and other tracking technologies to analyze the traffic on our websites, such as total visitors and pages viewed, to make improvements based on the data we collect, and to enhance and personalize your experience. Regal Rexnord never saves passwords or credit card information in cookies. The use of cookies has become a standard in the industry, especially with websites. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. In addition, we offer you a cookie banner to configure your preferences on our website. If you refuse cookies, you may lose some of the functionality of our websites. Our website advertisers and other partners may also use cookies in connection with the services and websites to which our websites link.

  9. Inferences about you. We collect information about your preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, or other trends that help us identify which products you may be interested in. This includes tracking information on your interaction with our marketing communications.

  10. Portal users: If you request access to an online portal we operate, we collect and process the following personal data: name, title, company name, email address, portal access username, portal access password, information on requests and orders processed in the portal and your voluntary request to receive access to such portal.

  11. Perceptiv™ users: To the extent provided to us, we collect and process the following personal data of Perceptiv™® users: name, email address, company postal address, phone number, geolocation data.

  12. Job Applicants: we may collect and process the following categories of personal data from or about job applicants:

    1. Identifiers, including full name, contact information (e.g., personal and/or business address, personal and/or business phone/fax numbers, email addresses), username and password (if using an applicant portal), citizenship / residency information, age (to the extent necessary); marital status, religious belief (if voluntarily provided by you and in any case in accordance with applicable legislation);
    2. Certain categories of sensitive information and data (to the extent permitted by applicable law), including facial photographs (if voluntarily provided by you), Characteristics of Protected Classifications (as defined under the CCPA), including gender, ethnicity, nationality, disability information, and military and veteran status (each only to the extent voluntarily provided by you with your express consent and in any case in accordance with applicable legislation);
    3. Professional or employment-related information, including languages spoken and skills, software experience, professional memberships, summaries of strengths and technical areas of expertise, pre-company work history information (e.g., previous employers and positions held, dates, locations, supervisors, responsibilities, salary), resume and cover letter information, references and information obtained from them, and related background check (to the extent permitted, and in accordance with applicable law);
    4. Education information, including education, and certificates and degrees obtained; and
    5. Other information, including any other information reasonably necessary for us to carry out our legal or regulatory obligations.

Personal data of unsuccessful candidates are deleted after six (6) months from the notification of the rejection of the application, unless consent for further storage is provided.

2. WHO IS COLLECTING THIS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Regal Rexnord or a company within the Regal Rexnord group collects the information described above from you, your agents, our distributors, our other customers, your employer, service providers, your financial institution, government entities, data analytics and third-party data providers, publicly available sources, our affiliates, and social media networks. The responsible controller within the Regal Rexnord group will depend on the processing activities that apply to you. We are jointly responsible for some of the processing activities with the providers of the social media platform. Accordingly, we have concluded the necessary agreements. For further information on the agreements, place contact us as indicated at section 18.

This information is collected via our websites, products, and other offline channels. In the case of third-party features such as advertising, co-branded areas, or links to other websites, such third parties may also collect information. You should review the applicable privacy policies of these third parties before providing personal information. Regal Rexnord is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.

 

3. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Regal Rexnord may use your personal information, including sensitive personal information, for the purposes described below. Regal Rexnord may also use your personal information and sensitive personal information for any additional purpose that you consent to or that Regal Rexnord notifies you of at the time of collection. This personal data includes Identifiers under the CCPA. The purposes are including but not limited to:

  1. To provide our products and services to you. To enable you to explore and purchase products, to supply, distribute, or use services (e.g. on our websites), to collect payment, to set up, manage or verify an account for you, to respond to your warranty requests, to provide customer service, to enable us to identify you as a user of our products and services, and to communicate your interest in, or facilitate your purchase of, Regal Rexnord products from our distributors if we do not sell such products directly to customers. To provide you with training and instructions on our products and services.  

     

  2. To communicate effectively with you and conduct our business. To provide you with administrative emails, to correspond with you when you register to receive information, to communicate with you, including posting a comment on our social media channels and to inform you of changes. We will also communicate with you to provide customer support and in relation to inquiries.  

     

  3. For research and development purposes and to manage and improve our business operations. When you participate in a survey or we gather demographic information about our user base, we analyze trends about our users based on information they provide and their interactions with us. We also use certain personal information to improve our website, products, and services. When we use systems or applications to improve our business practices, we do so under the legitimate interest of verifying the use of our social media pages and improving our content in a target group-oriented manner. 

     

  4. For marketing purposes including direct marketing communications, surveys or loyalty programs. We may use your information to promote our services, notify you about new products and services, to analyze the success of our marketing activities including customer segmentation, customer profiling, or lead generation (to the extent permitted by applicable law), or to send you surveys, promotional materials, newsletters, product upgrades, or special offers about our products and services by mail, email, and through social media, or to allow you to participate to loyalty and engagement programs.    We may also use your personal information to analyze our customers’ preferences and market trends and to derive insights, which we may use to tailor the types of products and offers that we present to you. This may involve us combining personal information that we hold about your use of our services with information that we have collected about your web usage. We may also use your personal information to conduct giveaways or contests. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent at the time we collect your data to conduct any of these types of marketing. We will provide an option to unsubscribe or opt-out of further communication on any electronic marketing communication sent to you. We also use advertising services and products provided by third-party service providers (such as marketing agencies and social media platforms) for marketing and promotional purposes, which may involve us sharing personal information we hold about you with them.

     

  5. To monitor certain activities. We monitor the use of some products, communications and our websites, including users’ movements and interactions around our websites and marketing email communications, the date and time of your visit, details of the information collected through cookies, and other tracking methodologies. We may monitor activities as part of our compliance procedures and combat fraud. 

     

  6. To administer our websites and enable your use of the Website, Web Portal, restricted areas or App. Including to resolve problems and disputes with our websites, ensure that the content is relevant and presented to you in the most effective manner for you, ensure compliance with our websites’ terms and conditions and this Global Privacy Policy, protect the security and integrity of our websites, and to notify you about updates to this Global Privacy Policy and websites’ Terms and Conditions.

     

  7. To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our rights. To comply with our regulatory requirements, to establish and defend legal claims, and to meet contractual obligations, conduct audits, communicate with regulators, protect Regal Rexnord’s or a third party’s rights, and enforce our contracts, which may include disclosing your personal information to third parties, a court service, attorneys, regulators, or law enforcement agencies in connection with inquiries, proceedings, or investigations by such parties anywhere in the world or where compelled to do so.     

     

  8. In connection with a sale, merger or reorganization of our business. If we undergo a sale, merger, or reorganization, we may need to transfer some or all of your personal information to a third party or its advisors as part of any due diligence process for the purpose of analyzing the proposed sale, merger, or reorganization or after the sale, merger, or reorganization for the same purposes as set out in this Global Privacy Policy.

  9. To facilitate business partner engagements, to facilitate such in-person visits, protect the security of our systems and infrastructure

To facilitate the collection, administration and processing of your job application, to determine your suitability for the role for which you have applied or for similar roles within our Group, to conduct background checks (in accordance with applicable law) as part of your application, and to complying with applicable laws, company policies and employment-related requirements. Where required by law, we will provide a job applicant notice.

REGAL REXNORD may also anonymize and aggregate any Personal Information we collect about you and use the resulting aggregated and/or anonymized data for any purposes permitted by applicable law.

REGAL REXNORD may use new and innovative technologies to improve its products and services, as well as to conduct researches, statistics and marketing analysis. The use of those technologies, especially those based on artificial intelligence, may pose some risks to the rights and freedoms of data subjects, such as: accidental deletion, alteration, unauthorized access or unintentional bias. Safeguarding your data is our top priority, therefore, we have technical and organizational measures in place to protect your data from such risks. In addition, we make sure that our providers are bound to appropriate contractual obligations.

4. LEGAL GROUNDS FOR USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

In some jurisdictions, Regal Rexnord is required to identify its legal grounds for processing your personal information. The purposes outlined in Sections 3(a), (b), (g) and (h) are all essential to provide our products and services. The purposes outlined in Sections 3(c), (d), (e), (f) and (i) allow us to provide you with better products and services. Not providing your personal data may result in disadvantages for you. For example, you may not be able to register an account on our website, purchase or use our products and services or receive marketing information. However, unless otherwise specified, not providing your personal data will not result in legal consequences for you. In the table below, we have set out the relevant grounds that apply to each purpose mentioned above in Section 3.

  1. Consent. where you have consented to our use of your personal information, you can withdraw your consent at any time and you will be enabled to do so, or you can contact us as indicated at section 18.     

     

  2. Contract negotiations and contract performance (collectively, Contract performance) where we are required to collect and handle your personal information as a prior step or in order to perform a contract with you (for example to complete a purchase or when we collect personal data for job applications or recruitment;

     

  3. Legal obligation. where we need to use your personal information to comply with our legal obligations; and 

     

  4. Legitimate interests. where we have a legitimate interest in using your personal information. We will only rely on this legal ground if we consider that our interest in using your personal information for the relevant purpose is not outweighed by any interests that you may have, or any prejudice that you may suffer, from the relevant use of your personal information.

In certain countries, we may legally use special categories of personal information or sensitive personal information for the following reasons:

In addition to any recipients specified in Sections 3 or 4 above, we may disclose personal information, including sensitive personal information (if applicable and allowed by applicable legislation), as described in the below table. In certain limited instances, Regal Rexnord may also share information and identifiers about you with our distributors to communicate your interest in, or facilitate the purchase of, products Regal Rexnord does not sell directly customers. Except as described in this Global Privacy Policy, Regal Rexnord will not knowingly disclose or authorize the disclosure of your personal information to any third party unless: (1) we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may have breached the terms and conditions of our websites or who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Regal Rexnord’s rights or property, other website users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities; (2) we believe in good faith that the law requires it; (3) we have contractual rights or obligations towards you to do so or (4) you consent to the disclosure.

6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information may be collected, transferred to, and stored by Regal Rexnord in the United States and by our affiliates and service providers that are based in different countries worldwide.  Therefore, your personal information may be processed outside of your country. Personal data may be transferred internationally mainly to: US, Asia Pacific Region, within European Region including EU and EEA and to Australia. Some countries have implemented transfer restrictions for personal information, in connection with which Regal Rexnord takes various measures, including:

a. Where required, implementing Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU commission or by the UK Information Commissioner Officer (ICO), or similar contractual clauses in other jurisdictions and effective safeguards;

7. RETENTION PERIODS.

Our retention periods for personal information are based on business needs and legal requirements. We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and otherwise as long as is necessary for the processing purpose(s) for which it was collected and any other permitted, linked purpose. Where personal information, including sensitive personal information, is no longer needed, we either irreversibly anonymize the data (in which case we may further retain and use the anonymized data) or securely destroy the data. In some jurisdictions, personal information may be retained for a longer period if you consent to the retention or if retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. Your newsletter registration data will be deleted after you inform us that you no longer want to receive marketing information from us. Your job applicant data will be deleted as indicated or within the local statutory retention periods. If you are a customer or vendor contact, your data will be kept as long as we consider your company a customer of our products. In case of a deletion request, we may be required to delete all or certain of your personal data sooner.

If we are required by applicable law to retain your personal data, we will not delete them. We may also retain your personal data if we need your personal data to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, only on a need-to-know basis. To the extent possible and commercially and technically practicable, we will restrict the processing of your personal data for such limited purposes after the termination of the contractual relationship.

Regal Rexnord shall periodically review the personal information in its possession to determine if retention is appropriate.

8. YOUR RIGHTS.

You may have certain rights relating or your personal information, including sensitive personal information, subject to local data protection laws. Depending on the applicable laws and under certain conditions, you may have the right to:

  1. Sensitive Information

    Regal Rexnord may collect and process sensitive personal data, specifically health-related information, in the context of job applications. Such processing of health data will be conducted only when explicitly permitted by applicable laws and regulations. The collection and processing of this sensitive information are subject to strict confidentiality measures and will be used solely for legitimate purposes related to the employment application process, in full compliance with Mexican data protection and labour laws.

  2. Purposes for the processing of personal information.

    Regal Rexnord processes your personal information for the purposes identified in section 3 of this Privacy Policy. From that list, purpose d (“For marketing purposes including direct marketing communications”) is related to marketing and therefore not necessary for the existence, maintenance, and fulfillment of our legal relationship with you.   3. Transfer of Personal Information.

    4. Responding to public health emergencies or protecting the life or property of natural persons in emergencies;

    5. Processing personal data that are already publicly disclosed by yourself or otherwise lawfully publicly disclosed within a reasonable scope.

  3. Processing sensitive personal information in China

According to Art. 28 of the PIPL, sensitive personal information is information that once leaked or illegally used will easily lead to infringement of personal dignity or endanger personal or property security, such as biometrical data, religion, special identity, medical and health data, financial account data, location tracking data and personal data related to children under 14 years old.

    Our business partners are typically companies. We usually do not process sensitive personal information of individuals. In exceptional cases, we only process your sensitive personal information if it is strictly necessary for a pre-defined purpose. If sensitive personal information is processed based on consent, we will ask for your consent separately. For children under 14 years old, we will obtain consent from the legal guardian of the children.

    Parties to whom we might disclose your personal information are listed in section 5 of the Global Privacy Policy. We will obtain your separate consent before providing your personal information to third parties unless the provision of personal information can be based on other legal grounds listed above in section 4 of this appendix.

    We will not publicly disclose your personal information.

  6. We are part of a global group of companies. Due to the need for consistent group management, we use some systems that are centrally managed by our headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Your business contact data such as name, company, position, business email address and telephone number stored in these systems is transferred to the headquarters, our affiliates and/or service providers located in third countries. This includes especially the following recipients:

    We will only process your sensitive personal information if it is strictly necessary for a pre-defined purpose and based on any of the following legal grounds:

    1. Where you have provided us with your consent;

    2. Where the processing is mandated under existing laws and regulations which guarantee the protection of the information;

    3. Where the processing is necessary to protect your life and health or that of another person, and you are unable to provide your consent prior to the processing;

    4. Where the processing is necessary for purposes of medical treatment carried out by a medical practitioner or a medical treatment institution, and ensures an adequate level of protection of the information; or

    5. Where the processing is necessary for the protection of our lawful rights and interests in court proceedings, or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or when provided to the government or any public authority.

  4. Data Storage, Cross-Border Transfers, and Protection

    Regal Rexnord may store your personal information on servers and systems under its control or on servers and systems that it licenses. To carry out the purposes described in the Global Privacy Policy, your personal information may be transferred and stored outside of Canada, including in the United States. If you are a resident of Quebec, please note that your personal information may be transferred and stored outside of Quebec, including in other provinces in Canada and the United States, for these purposes. This means your data may be subject to the laws of other jurisdictions, which may not provide the same level of protection as in your province or in Canada. If we transfer your data, it will be subject to appropriate contractual safeguards, and the jurisdiction will be evaluated as required by applicable law.

  5. Additional Privacy Rights

    In addition to the rights listed in the Global Privacy Policy, you have the following rights depending on the applicable laws and under certain conditions:

    1. An option, prior to the collection of personal information, to provide or not provide your personal information or sensitive personal information to us; and

    2. The right to access in one place the identities of any persons with whom we shared your personal information and sensitive personal information, along with the categories of personal information shared with them.

    3. Access to the retention schedule outline the period we will retain your personal information for each category of information we collect.

    You may exercise your rights described above by submitting a verifiable request to us in the manner prescribed in Section 8 of the Global Privacy Policy. We will respond to these requests as follows:

    1. For residents of Alberta: Upon receiving a request to access, delete, or to correct an error or omission, we will respond within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 30 days for a total of 75 days), we will inform the Requestor of the reason and extension period in writing.

    2. For residents of Quebec:  Upon receiving a request to access, delete, or to correct an error or omission, we will respond within thirty (30) days. If the request cannot be processed or additional information is needed you will be informed in writing.

    3. For residents in provinces other than Quebec and Alberta: Upon receiving a request to access, delete, or to correct an error or omission, we will respond within thirty (30) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 30 days for a total of 60 days), we will inform the Requestor of the reason and extension period in writing.

  6. Quebec Residents

    The Quebec Privacy Act provides residents with specific rights regarding their Personal Information. This sub-section describes those rights and explains how to exercise them.

    1. Right to be de-indexed or re-indexed: You have the right to request that Regal Rexnord stop disseminating your personal information, deindex or reindex a hyperlink associated with your name that provides access to your information, particularly if such dissemination causes harm or violates the law or a court order. Once we receive and confirm your privacy request, we will delete (and instruct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies under applicable privacy laws, including the Quebec Privacy Act. Please note that we may not be able to delete your personal information entirely in the following cases:

      • If deleting the information would violate any law, legal requirement, or make the information incorrect.

      • If the information is necessary for servicing or collecting on an active employee following acceptance of a position with our Company.

      • Some data may remain in backups, which are retained per our disaster recovery policies.

    2. Geolocation Data and profiling: When collecting geolocation data or any data associated with a technology that permits us to create a profile on you, which includes time and physical location related to your use of our website, application, device, or physical access to our office location, please be informed of the following:

      • Default Setting: Geolocation and profiling features will be turned off by default.

      • Activation Instructions: To activate geolocation tracking, or profile tracking you must voluntarily choose to enable this feature in your device settings or within the application.

      By providing activating geolocation features, you allow us to collect your location data for the intended purposes.

    3. Automated Decision-Making: Regal Rexnord does not profile or use any form of automated processing on your personal information in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

  7. For all Canadian Residents

In Canada, we shall not collect personal information or sensitive personal information from a child under the age of 14 years without a parent's or guardian's prior consent.
