Increased Strength
The 6997 Series offers improved strength for longer conveyors and belt life and is 15% stronger than the 5997 Series.
Improved Product Stability and Chain Performance
The 6997 Series is designed with straight line ribs for better product handling, as well as improved container stability at transfers which leads to less product loss and damage. Additionally, the 6997 Series features improved lateral stiffness which creates less downed containers and reduces product tippage.
Superior Chain Material
The 6997 Series is made with USP (Ultra-Stabilized Polypropylene) material, which is specifically formulated to withstand chemically aggressive pasteurizer, warmer and cooler applications. This USP material is designed to handle the chemicals used in boil-out and cleaning processes and helps to extend chain life in high-temperature environments.
Easy Retrofit from 5997 to 6997
By using the same conveyor structure, DTS-C®, transfer combs and sprockets as the 5997 Series, the 6997 Series is an easy retrofit. Additionally, assembly and disassembly of the 6997 Series is fast and easy due to the TwistLock® plugs on both sides of the chain.
