Cylindrical Bearings for heavy-duty trucks and off-highway construction equipment

You can find bearings in all sorts of equipment and machinery. Bearings, which reduce friction and transfer motion, come in different shapes and sizes, depending on the application. Custom Roller Bearing Changes

Many applications are well-suited for the standard catalog roller bearings. Other applications require bearings with extra features or changed specifications. When an application has unique needs, Regal Rexnord can fully customize the bearing. Custom designs can include special envelope (bore, o.d. and width) dimensions or component configuration.

Regal Rexnord can also perform internal design modifications that can improve the bearing's operation for given specific conditions. These modifications will impact a bearing's performance. For instance, changing the roller crown radius design helps fine-tune the bearing for maximum load-carrying. Another modification, race contact surface finishing improvements, helps with lubrication when using gear and/or hydraulic oils.

For some applications, bearing housings might be made out of one material while the shaft will be composed of another type of material. In this case, the modifications to envelope dimensions and internal operating clearance help the bearing operate under temperature changes. These modifications give the bearing the proper fit and help maintain adequate running clearance.
