Delivering When Customers Need Product the Most
The bar and restaurant industry is a constantly changing environment with high-stakes responsibilities that must be fulfilled for a business to run smoothly. Some of these include marketing the business, inventory management/supply chain, staff turnover, and customer service. With restaurants and bars juggling many volatile business factors; concern around inventory should not have to be their first priority.
The last thing a business wants is delayed shipments or high turnover of parts and components that go into their applications. Delivering consistency and durability when operating in an industry with such fluctuations is essential.
Following Through On Customer Promises
We recently worked with a prominent original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the bar and restaurant industry known for delivering industry-leading quality and high-level customer service. Their specialty bar products offer customization around applications like beer taps, refrigeration units, sinks, power packs, and more.
Their success is directly tied to their customers’ needs, ensuring the products and applications they deliver are sustainable, durable and impactful. Like most entities in the bar and restaurant space, they rely heavily on a consistent supply chain to uphold their inventory and deliver commitments to customers. Because of this, product availability and stocking are imperative.
Tapping the Right Solution Partner
One key application the OEM customer operates within is the bar and refrigeration space, developing solutions that save space, time, and energy for end-users.
In this particular application, the OEM customer implemented a solution that allowed their end-users to store beer kegs several yards from the tap. This helped save crucial face-to-face time with customers and eliminated the need for bar backs to run from keg to keg.
In order to deliver a solution like this the OEM customer needed a pump motor that ensures that the beer is transported quickly, stays cold, and does not cause the beer to leak through the tap. With supply chain and inventory issues creating a threat to their project, the OEM customer reached out to our sales partners at Brisbane Industrial Drive Co (Brisbane).
Inventory and Availability Save the Day
Brisbane Industrial Drive Co. worked closely with the OEM customer, recommending our LEESON line of carbonator pump motors to meet the requirements of the application.
Thanks to Brisbane’s accessible inventory and delivery times, they were able to meet the customer’s inventory demands in a quick and efficient manner.
Once the order was fulfilled, Regal Rexnord and Brisbane were able to ship and deliver the motors in a matter of days. No need to wait for an inbound backorder product.
Once received, the carbonator pump motors were installed, keeping the OEM customer’s beer cool, saving time for bartenders to engage with customers, and reducing the beer lost once a keg was tapped.
