Which VGreen Motor Is Right For the Job?

The VGreen 165 variable speed motor is 208-230 volts, is available in square or round flange configurations and accepts a variety of impellers from 0.5 – 1.65 total horsepower (THP).  

The VGreen 085 motor is 110 volts and is also available in square and round flanges PLUS thru bolt configurations and accepts a variety of impellers from 0.5 – 0.85 THP, making this a great fit for above-ground pool applications.

The new VGreen Cross Reference Card makes identifying the correct replacement easy. To use the card, simply locate the standard Century motor replacement for the job. Select the proper voltage, if the standard motor has 115 and 230 volt options. The VGreen replacement option for that standard motor can be found in the far right column of the card. Programming Is a BREEZE

The integrated user interface makes programming the schedule quick and easy.  Three customizable steps and one override can be easily adjusted to meet the circulation needs of the pool while greatly reducing the energy needed to operate the motor at lower speeds.

What About Compatibility With Other Pool Equipment?

The VGreen 165 and 085 universal retrofit replacement motors are designed to work with existing mechanical/digital time clocks, automation systems and solar controllers.  

Mechanical or digital time clock?  Simply leave the mains connections on the load side of existing time clock and the ON tripper becomes the dedicated start time. 

Working with automation? No problem! Leaving the mains connections on the load side of the filter pump relay allows the user to set a defined start time for daily schedules. 

Have automation with a spa or pressure cleaner? We have you covered! Connecting your spa or pressure cleaner to the onboard digital inputs allows the user to activate a spa or cleaner speed anytime the system is in spa or cleaner mode.

Solar controller? Yep, we have you covered too! Leaving the mains connections on the load side of your time clock and utilizing the onboard digital inputs with the solar controller allows the system to run a daily schedule while providing a solar speed when there is demand from the solar controller.
