Concurrent with Regal Rexnord’s sustainability initiatives and our corporate responsibility standards, complying with all applicable regulations that impact the health and safety of both our customers as well as our planet and employees is a responsibility Regal Rexnord takes seriously.

Many of the products Regal Rexnord manufactures are compliant with regional environmental directives such as EU RoHS and EU REACH. In addition, Regal Rexnord maintains a robust conflict minerals program in compliance with standards established by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act of 2012.

3rd Party Data Collection

To assist Regal Rexnord with soliciting and gathering documentation related to materials compliance from our supply chain, we have partnered with third party compliance manager Source Intel.  Regal Rexnord expects its supply chain to fully cooperate with Source Intel by providing all requested compliance documentation in a timely manner.

Full Material Disclosure (FMD) Statements

As Regal Rexnord's customers expect Full Material Disclosure (FMD) data on our products, we must in turn require FMD statements from our Supply Chain.  FMD statements contain data which explains the complete chemical composition of all materials in parts supplied to Regal Rexnord.  If a supplier is unable to provide FMD statements, then upon agreement with Regal Rexnord, they must gather, compile, and report on any restricted or hazardous substances in parts and materials they supply Regal Rexnord.

Compliance Documentation Requirements

To ensure all reporting requirements are met, Regal Rexnord has established compliance documentation standards.  Included below are links to REACH and RoHS declaration acceptance criteria. For conflict minerals, Regal Rexnord requires suppliers submit their declarations using the latest version of the CFSI’s Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT), found here: https://www.conflictfreesourcing.org/conflict-minerals-reporting-template/.
