Genteq X13 Motor Introduction
The Genteq X13 constant torque ECM was introduced to the HVAC industry in 2006. It provides the efficiency of a variable speed ECM with the simplicity of a multi-speed PSC motor. This OEM indoor blower motor is predominantly used in air handler and package system applications.

The X13 constant torque ECM indoor blower motor provides the efficiency of variable speed motors with the simplicity of multi-speed PSC motors. However, the speed taps on these OEM motors are programmed by the manufacturer of the HVAC system to match each unique model unit.
