Primary product – The product to which other products are related. For example, if you are looking for a substitute to a discontinued product you currently own, the product you own is the primary product.
There are several types of related products that we associate with many of our individual products. These include:
Upgrades – Substitute products that offer improved performance compared to the selected product
Accessories – Products that enhance the performance of the selected product
Substitutes – Similar products that may be used in place of the selected product
Supersedes – Similar products that have replaced the selected product
Related Products – Different category of products that work well with the selected product

Browse the Catalog to the Primary Product’s Detail Page
One easy way to find related products of any kind is to visit the primary product’s detail information page.
Select the “Products” main menu item.
Select the level 1 or level 2 category for the primary product of interest.
Navigate the sub categories to a product list page where you can then filter the product list based on key attributes.
Identify the primary product of interest and select it to navigate to the product detail page.
Scroll down the product detail page to find each type of relationship associated with the selected product.
Note: If you do not see a relationship that you are sure exists, please use the product feedback link on the product detail page of the primary product to provide feedback.
This will alert us to the missing information so it can be added for future reference.
Search for the primary product
The fastest way to find related products of any kind is to visit the primary product’s detail information page.
Enter catalog number, Regal part ID, or your customer part number for the primary product in the search box in the header of the page.
Either select the “type-ahead” result that is displayed or select the search button.
If the type-ahead result was selected, you will see the product detail page. If the search button was selected, you will see a search result page where you can select the primary product of interest and be directed to the product detail page
Scroll down the product detail page to find each type of relationship associated with the selected product.
